What's Cook'n with Your Kitchen Sink Stamps? September Contest Announcement

September's contest theme has been determined, and we can't wait to see what you come up with! This is your chance to strut your stuff with Kitchen Sink Stamps and enter to win KS stamp sets!

The theme for September is "Celebrate!"

There are 5 categories that you can enter:
  • Best use of color
  • Best use of sentiments
  • Fun, fresh design
  • Thinking outside the box
  • Anything but a card
So in all, you have five chances to win!

This celebratory sample was made by the Queen of the Kitchen herself, Maria!

In order to enter, all you have to do is submit a comment to *this post* and provide a link to your card or project (whether it's on your blog or in an online gallery). The deadline for submitting your creations is September 25, 2008, Midnight EST. Winners will be announced on October 1, 2008.

Ok, um, where are all the other entries???? Hello? Is anyone out there???!!

I have another one. This one is for the Thinking Outside the Box. I have been working w/ Armour Etch and 3 step Butterflies.
As for how it relates to celebration, um, I know it's a stretch, but how about, these are the plates and cups for the big celebration party? Does it qualify?

Thanks, and I hope to see more entries! It's rather scary just seeing my little cheese and mouse card continuously running through the slide show! LOL!

Here's my card for the fun, fresh design category for this month's contest:

I had a small working window for use of a computer because of Hurrican Ike, so this was the only time I had to get this in. Pray I get electricity soon.

This is a wallhanging for the best use of sentiment. I stamped the word *Happy* all around the edge of the rose. Roses are given for many happy events so this rose someone could hang on their wall and enjoy for some time. I used the Heart and rose set, the whole family set, and plaid plus. Here's how it turned out:

Oops! I forgot to say what I was celebrating for my best use of color card. I am celebrating the fact the it is almost fall, and the 100 degree days are GONE!!! :)

Here is my entry for "Fresh and Fun". I am celebrating friendships AND the ocean with the card (the California girl in me LOVES the ocean!

I have to thank the color goddess, aka JanTInk for helping me "case" her color combos for these lovely seashells. After an hour of messing with these, I finally had to call her! Thanks so much for your help, my friend!!
