A New KS Crew Challenge & A KSS Mystery Box Winner at SOA!

Time for a new challenge with our KS Hostess, Lynn.
KS Crew Monday Challenge #14

(for the SOA winner, please read all the way to the bottom)

Lynn has us thinking outside of the box today ... or maybe I should say thinking outside of the can... as in trash can!

Lynn's challenge is to Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose and Recycle! .... we are Going GREEN!

Take some previously used non-stamping item that is headed for the trash can and turn it into a component in your Kitchen Sink project either as a layer or embellishment of some sort! Trash to Treasure so to speak!

It's not always easy to be Green ... but, I would say the KS Crew has struck GOLD with their "Trash to Treasure" samples to inspire!!!!

Great challenge! This recycled tealight holder was made using: Sand Photo and Water Waves paper from The Paper Studio. Also used: Hemp cord, fine grade sand paper (the shells were stamped on it), Stampin' Up Inks: Basic Black, Going Gray, Creamy Caramel, and Close to Cocoa. The stamps were from Kitchen Sink Stamps: 3 Step Sea Shells and their 3 Step Hibiscus sets. Have fun hunting the shoreline for your own treasures this summer!

This challenge is right up my alley! I have a drawer full of "trash" to use - especially for punches. I got to use the set you so graciously sent to me for the Stamping out Alzheimers challenge. Thankk you!
