What's Cook'n with Your Kitchen Sink Stamps? August Contest Announcement

August's contest theme has been determined, and we can't wait to see what you come up with! This is your chance to strut your stuff with Kitchen Sink Stamps and enter to win KS stamp sets!

The theme for August is "Turn Up The Heat!"

There are 5 categories that you can enter:

  • Best use of color
  • Best use of sentiments
  • Fun, fresh design
  • Thinking outside the box
  • Anything but a card
So in all, you have five chances to win!

In order to enter, all you have to do is submit a comment to *this post* and provide a link to your card or project (whether it's on your blog or in an online gallery). The deadline for submitting your creations is August 25, 2008, Midnight EST. Winners will be announced on September 1, 2008.

I still have a lot to learn, but I sure am having fun playing with my new stamps!! Here is the card I would like to enter in the August "Turn Up the Heat" Contest in the Use of Color category.

This earrings and necklace set is my entry for the anything but a card category...I definitely turned the head up of this my oven! :) I the made butterfly charms with shrinky dinks.

Here is my card for "thinking outside the box":
I turned up the heat when I fired up the old embossing gun for the cross which I made from Plaid plus.

I used a repeated pattern for the sentiment for my"best use of sentiment" card:

I turned up the heat by making a Christmas card on a hot, summery day in August. LOL

Decided to enter my autumn centerpiece in the Turn Up the Heat contest. What could be hotter than a candle?
